Jose Mugaburu operates josemugaburu.com. This policy explains what happens to your information when you visit this site or send me a note.

When you send a note

The contact form collects your email address, message, role, and company size when required. It also sends the page language and inquiry type. I use this information to read and respond to your inquiry. Sending a note does not subscribe you to a newsletter.

How messages reach me

Formspree processes submissions and delivers them to my Gmail inbox. Copies can remain in the Formspree submission archive and my email. Formspree may collect connection information, including IP address, browser type, and referring page, for delivery and spam prevention. Formspree processes information in the United States and other countries where it operates.

Browsing and sharing

The site code adds no advertising trackers or visitor analytics, and does not save form drafts in cookies or browser storage. It does not change its behavior in response to Do Not Track signals. Copy link uses your clipboard. Share on X opens X with the website link. Nothing is posted until you choose to publish it there.

Website hosting

Amazon Web Services hosts this website through S3 and CloudFront. AWS processes connection information, such as your IP address and requested pages, to deliver and protect the website. This policy describes this website’s practices. AWS explains its role as a hosting provider in its data privacy guidance.

Newsletter and other websites

Newsletter links take you to The Easier Way on beehiiv. When you subscribe there, beehiiv processes the subscription for me. You can unsubscribe through the link in the newsletter. beehiiv explains its own data practices in its privacy policy. Company and social links open other websites with their own policies.

Keeping your information

I keep contact inquiries for up to six months after our last exchange, unless they are needed for an ongoing relationship or a legal obligation. This applies to copies in my email and the Formspree archive. You can ask me to delete a message sooner or correct information you sent.
